Hi guys,
So a few weeks ago i finished a mini game for school.
The idea was, that you're a museum guard and bump over a painting. While doing that, you find a old diary of the 'girl with the golden dress' who plays a key role in the story behind the Night Watch painting. When opening the book, you're sucked into the book. You than need to find the truth behind the Night Watch (not many know that there are 50 complot theories in the painting). You experience pieces of Rembrandts life, and need to solve puzzles to get further into the story.
The game was made in about 4 weeks, so i had little time to make environments and program puzzles. In the end we had to relay on pieces of the documentry we got inspiration from.
Anyway, all 3d models except the 'humans' I made in DeleD.

Looking back to it, I'm not proud of the mini-game or most of the environments. They were low-poly, poor details and terribe texturing except for the livingroom scene. Might re-do the Night Watch room of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Just for fun.

I can't read the writing, but really didn't need too. For a 4 week timeline, you did an excellent job. The music fit the environment too. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Hi Stressless,
completing something, even a smaller project, is a real worth.
Look at my endless efforts - years of "no-end-in-sight".
Keep on, the next one can be always better. |
