Not sure if you are serious seen the previous posts. But if so:
You can always change the material to something else. It has been this way for years, and we love it. As for the other questions. It might be easier if you ask them all in one post and be more clear.

For instance, if you move objects around, they will snap to the grid unless you disabled the snapping. Maby you should just experiment with the program a bit more and watch some tutorials (see my comment on the tutorial post).
