In particular, as a former Duke3D/Doom level creator, I'd like to bind grid size plus/minus to square brackets. |

Nope, DeleD does not support changing keybindings i'm afraid. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Any chances of changing that? |

DeleD Community Edition is not actively enhanced anymore so I don't think this feature will be implemented. It is open source though so perhaps you can find a coder willing to do the job.
We, on the other hand, are working on DeleD Web Edition which will be coming out this year. I can imagine a feature like this becoming available over time. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |

Yeah, but WE probably will be subscription-based (otherwise it wouldn't make sense financially to host it unless you plan to give code away so anyone can host it themselves), and I can't afford that. Even $5 is too much of a commitment for me because of my financial situation.
Anyway, I'm a Delphi programmer (bit rusty, but good enough) so maybe I could give it a shot. Would help on Lazarus port, but I don't know nearly enough about low level OpenGL calls aside of bare basics (gl_begin(GLQUADS), something something gl_end;) and I heard lot of work is needed on the rendering code. I'll try to get some attention on this one, know few guys in pascal dev world.
Anyway, I think I could help with shortcuts because that seems easy enough and I could also try compacting the toolbox (hiding tools not applicable in the current context instead of disabling)
//edit: Correct me if I wrong, but aren't you (one of) original DeleD devs? |

Yes, I'm one of the original DeleD devs, nice to meet you.
Sure, go ahead and play around with the Delphi code. Would be nice to see someone picking it up again! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
