Ooooooooooh, nice!

If I can find the time (hope hope) I will give it a testrun through the DeleD Pro lightmapper, very curious to see what it'd look like. I am currently working on correcting some of those artifacts, and this would make a very nice testcase Very Happy

Well there are some great artists out there. Mr. Fletcher, your submission is great to say the least. I agree that it is a little dark and the shadows leave a lot to be desired, so I hope that Paul can solve these issues, I am sure he will. Great model building and a credit to you.

Nocturn. If you are talking about the textures on the walls, then you probably have guessed where I got them from. It is good to know that you created them. Kind regards Brian

Brian, are you in for answering a stupid question? You mentioned you made the door using a grid primitive, and I was wondering... how? (yes yes, I am a modeling nitwit Very Happy)

Paul, the only way I have ben able to cut out areas in an object is when I create a grid Object. From here you select the object and select policon mode. Then you can select an area using the Shift key Select and drag with the LMB, then delete the selected poligons. This creates a hole in the grid object. The issue is when you want to create a wall using this process. If you extrude the grid, only one face is renderable. What you are left with after extrude is the face you creted with the grid and the internal unrenderable faces with no back face.

it would be good if the grid primitive could be extruded with a back face like a cube.

Kind regards Brian. Laughing

Hey Granada, this is very interesting. We should probably move this disscusion to another area of this forum, but I will say this for now, you have shown me another way to create windows and doors in objects. I will experiment with this over the next few days. Thanks a million. Kind Regards Brian. Laughing

Whew, after many hours of wrist wrenching work, I have come up with something that you guys will ( hopefully ) like. Smile

It's not exactly in a 640x480 format, but I can change it if you want, not a big deal. I also couldn't really get the lighting as good as it can be, ( hides the doors and other stuff in the shadows ), but It's decent none-of-the-less.

Lightmapped:

These are just to ponder on...
Misc Angles:

Non-Lightmapped:

btw. everything was made with DeleD Cool

We have 4 submissions at the moment which is not that many. I want to have at least 8 so we are prolonging the contest to may 15th. Also, the winner needs to prove his submission was made in DeleD by sending us the DMF+textures. I know we should have mentioned that before but we only just thought of it ourselfs. Rolling Eyes

OMFG @ handless!! Really great!

@Jeroen - it isn't much proved if the winner sends the DMF File to you, it could be imported, too.
