Ok for my first attempts at using DeleD (love it )
I'm not very good at texturing, so please try not to laugh
Made a gate to stick between 2 towers...
and a Keep

Very nice. A good start.
The only thing I'd say is that the quality difference between the 2 brick textures you used makes it look just a little weird. The green texture looks good, but the grey one appears over magnified and blurry.
If you scaled it down, it would be perfect. |

Can't really go wrong with castles, we love the medieval stuff
I agree with Vampyre_Dark on the grey texturing, the stones look a bit out of proportion. |

Thanks for the comments
Ok, I re-textured the keep to match the gate and tower, I think it looks a little better...
and I also made a couple graves and a rock (exciting I know )

I quite like the rocks and grave stones. Nice work. With some dramatic lighting this scene would look awsome. Kind regards Brian |

You have really nice ideas. I've nerver seen a scene with Gravestones. ( In Texturepack 4 you will find enough Textures for your Castle + Graveyard ) |

Ya I agree with nocturn and brian, I really like your gravestones. A mound of dirt in front of them and an erie fog setting would really make that scene come alive |

Thanks for all the wonderful comments... I appreciate it!
Ok, so as requested, I've added some dirt mounds and a new gravestone, and a little diarama (sp?) scene here of a cemetary....

wow, I like I need some scenes in my project like this!
I don't know if the crack in the gravestone on the left is supposed to be there, but It gives the scene a more realistic feel I think. |

Well that gravestone is supposed to be a broken one, but the texture just kinda happened that way heheh....
If you want to use any of that in your game you can, I can send you the prefabs for the gravestones if you want. _________________ -Warspawn |

Why do I have the feeling there are some gothic-themed games in the making here? Love this stuff! |

Great stuff indeed! It seems some of you guys could work together on the same project very well. And I can't say it enough: I love medieval stuff! |
