|
|
I have ben "trialing" Deled Lite and seem to be getting my head round it (I'm more of a programmer than an artist).
My main stumbling block is that for most of the time, I cannot save prefabs.
I have suceeded a couple of times and I am not sure exactly why.
I almost always get the message "Please select one object to export".
It seems to be rejecting my attempts on the basis that I have more than one object selected.
I have been grouping the objects - assuming this makes them one object - then selecting the grouped object to save as a prefab.
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please??
If I can overcome these few problems, I'll probably get the upgrade.. |

Hi there and welcome!
A prefab is always one single object. In order to export your work as a prefab, you need to merge your objects into a single object first. Simply select your objects in Object mode and use the Merge command. Then export the resulting object as prefab. |
