As some of you may know there's a compo entry at www.darkbasic.com to make a puzzle game. Here's my entry so far:

Complexit
Author: Me - Nick Smile

Programs used: DeleD LITE and DarkBASIC PRO
Origin of name: Complexit is made from COMPLEX and EXIT to make COMPLEXIT.
Difficulty of game: * * * * - Fairly hard
Objective of game:

You are locked in a room...
Which is a high security prison...
And you got to get out...
By using your head...

Basically, you have to escape from prison, but using your head. You have to look around using RIGHT MOUSECLICK and examining with LEFT MOUSECLICK. You have to search every nook 'n' cranny to find the objects you need to escape. This game requires alot of logical thinking and you need to think to yourself 'Where would I hide my most precious thing in the world?' etc.

BIG HINT: Search everywhere - even the most unlikely object can help you.

This game is a bit like this flash game where your locked in a room and you have to get out by finding and using objects.

There is a ENGINE demo, but this is NOWHERE NEAR THE FINAL PRODUCT. On the demo, you can only examine the bed and the door for now.

Access is forbidden. The game you are talking baout is Crimson Room. Very good game. looking forward to playing this

WHA!?! No this is COMPLEXIT which is different game. I don't know what Crimson Room is but I think I've heard of it Smile

Well this time, the download works, but starting the .exe, i get the error message "Failed to load DLL (4:DBProLightDebug.dll)".
