I want to have at least 8 so we are prolonging the contest to may 15th. Also, the winner needs to prove his submission was made in DeleD by sending us the DMF+textures. I know we should have mentioned that before but we only just thought of it ourselfs. |
We have 6 contenders at the moment. 2 to go!
Mog, you're showing 3 picture at the moment, please show the picture you want to use for the contest. |

Thanks Granada . I couldn't figure that out. I will send my .DMF to Jeroen as soon as I get home .
Edit: Ok, it's sent . All you have to do is hit ctrl-alt- L (I hope) and the lights will show up, but, you should know that . |

I think this would look much better if it wasn't so dark. |

Yeah, like it a lot! (I wanted to try lighting this scene myself during 1.2 development but as I didn't have any of your textures i couldn't get it to look like much )
I don't think it's too dark. The very bright colour scheme of our "Delgine House Style" (i.e. the forum colours) make everything look a tad more dark than it is. If you would view it full-screen it wouldn't look half as dark.
That said, I'll probably add a simple 'exposure' algorithm to the next lightmapper version (a simple technique to make all of the light brighter without loosing detail). |

That'd be cool(!), could you send them to me by e-mail (or put them online, whichever you prefer)? I could use it for
(a) testing the new exposure functionality (it's nice to have a live scene to test with that could actually benefit from it)
(b) testing (and perhaps showcasing) the benefits of pro over lite lightmapping for this particular scene. |

Hi all. This is my attemp at creating Transparancy and reflection using Deled. This world was made in Deled, however, the trans and refl. was done in the resulting material script after exporting to Ogre.
Displayed using Blink3d from Pellican Crossing.
If you have Blink3D and wish to download the environment so that you can walk through it, try this link.

NOTE: You must be using Internet Explorer to view this environment.
Kind regards Brian |

It's not ALL built in Deled, it's not LIT in Deled and they're not screenshots from Deled ...
so disqualify me immediately ...
but Deled's central to the 3D workflow and plot ..
Clicking on the last image in the cartoon
will first download the Web Browser Plug-in THEN do a page refresh and it will launch launch the 3D navigable environment that the shots are composed in..
NB Internet explorer on Windows ONLY
http://www.louiscolan.com/blink/pre-viz1.htm
If you haven't checked out Blink3D .... you should ... you might like it.
Afterall .. screenshots of 3D stuff is all good and well ... but with Blink .....
.... online 3D is 3D.
P.s. Paul-Jan has already written the Exporter .. Blink uses the OGRE format.
here's a snapshot
cheers

Immersive 3D ... Just click on the last image of the 6.
You now do not need to have Blink Installed .. the web browser Plug-in will install automatically
.. however I don't know if this current version works if you 've got Blink 106 installed.
cheers
N.B.
Click once on the environment once it's loaded then use either the mouse or the Arrow keys to navigate. |
