As of right now, DeleD appears to clear the clipboard when you load a new DMF. It'd be useful to be able to open one DMF, select some objects you want to copy, hit copy, then open another DMF, and hit paste to paste those objects into the other DMF.
The only way I was able to trick DeleD to doing this was using the .X exporter. Delete everything I didn't want copied. Export it. Load the DMF I want to paste into and import the .X file.

By the way, random question: I had some weird things happen when exporting/importing the .X, but I am wondering if it is user error. I would assume I would have run into this by now with all the .X exporting I do, but, does the exporter only export the selection or everything in the DMF?
If not, then the importer wasn't importing everything I exported.

The exporter exports everything. The importer has been added recently, so we haven't had much feedback on that one yet. If there is anything happening you didn't expect, I'd suspect the importer. You can check the .X file in the mesh viewer to see if it is complete.
If it isn't... you know where to send the files |

Dr.Zoop. One way around this issue is to multi select the objects you want to copy, then merge them and save them as a Prefab. Open your other environment and import the prefab.
Kind regards Brian |

Good idea Brian, I didn't even think of that. It's still kind of a pain, but that's definitely the best way to do it for now. |
