Hi Guys,
As promised I did all my best to make a full release and tomorrow I'll upload files (I have to write a better and more complete readme ).
In the meanwhile give a look to new user interface :
now you can change camera position in collision ellipsoid and ellipsoid dimension too.
You can set camera speed, rotation and start position etc... more your settings will be saved automatically in a levelpreview.cfg binary file and remembered....
I've added ESC command to exit and F to turn on/off flashlight:
If I can tomorrow I'll add jump code with SPACE.
Well I think you'll like this plugin
Bye guys..... |

Hi Guys,
As promised I'm releasing this new version, I'm still working on a good jump implementation, so I decided to not include in this release.
You can download this version at the following address:
http://www.ilbuzzo.net/downloads/LevelPreview.zip
In this version I've added the following things:
-Flashlight to enlight your darker and not lightmapped levels (You can activate with F).
-More options to set your engine (you can change camera position, collision ellipsoid radius, camera position in ellipsoid.....give a look to readme.txt for full explanation).
-Exit plugin with escape.
Ok Guys, hope you'll like this.
bye
P.S.:
I'm implementing my plugin with Newton physics more than using embedded, but I'll add in the next version when I'll add some objects you can move etc.... (Hey I won't say nothing more ).
But you need to wait 30 days minimum owing to my exams in the next weeks. |

Hi All,
@Sindwiller
I don't know what exactly happens but this error is mostly due to limitation in graphic card (hey don't try a 800x600x32 res with a 8mb hardware ).
Try the lowest res and remember you need at least Directx 9.0c and latest video drivers.
Please let me know your hardware specs if you have more troubles.
Bye |

I am also having troubles. When I was using LITE it was fine, now with your latest version, and with PRO it is not working for me.
To start with I was able to get in and look about, but WASD and arrow keys did not work in order to move.
Then I tried again with collision turned off (I thought maybe the camera was somehow inside a wall or something) and I got the following error -
Quote: |
Access violation at address 159C4940 in module levelpreview.dll. Read of address 00000000. |
The error message would not go away and I was unable to exit out of DeleD as a result and have to use task manager to end program. If I switch the collision back on again, the error message no longer appears. But still no luck with WASD or arrow keys... |

The WSAD keys are working fine for me, but I can definitely reproduce the AV problem when toggling collission off. This happens in both DeleD 1.22 Lite and DeleD 1.22 Pro. I think we have run into a little bug in the plugin here |

Hi All,
the trouble is mainly due, at least I think to a pointer to trianglecollision animation not handled.
I've fixed this with Irrlicht 0.11.0 support.
I'll do some more testes and then upload the new version (just bugfix, no new version).
Bye all |

Hi Guys,
I've solved the bug (to tell the truth I've solved in work in progress version so I removed some updates code and all is done ).
You can download this new version 1.0 built 3 from:
www.ilbuzzo.net/downloads/LevelPreview.zip
as usual, replace the old one and all is done.
Bye guys and let me know if you have some other troubles |

Great work, it now runs like a charm with collission turned off. I have replaced our own download by this version as well. Thanks! |
