It depends.

is your wall a flat one sided thing, or is it a cube? If it's a cube, select the faces that you want to texture, and add a new texture on them. Every side of your shapes can have their own texture assigned.

Just go into face mode ('f')

The same way you select an object.

Face and Polygon mode work based off the selected object. So hit 'o' to get back into object mode, and then select an object. Then go back to face mode, and select the faces you want.

3d triangle? You mean a pyramid? Just draw one, any size, and then move the vertices where needed.

Skilly? Confused Question Question Question

It's easy to make it the same width, just watch how you move the vertices.

Okay, I can help with that. (let me edit this and write it out!)

First you make a cube. Make it the same width as you want the bottom.

Now go into polygon mode, and delete the top face.

Now go into vertice mode, and drag the proper vertives together.

Now select all those top vertices and weld them. Don't select snap all vertices together here, or you'll get a pyramid!

ok, i got it, thanks so much! but i find it hard to add the actual roof, ill tell you what im doing, im making the triagnle, then making a whole other seperate cube and scaling it in all way and rotating it to match up with the angle of the roof and place it on. It takes alot of trial and error and of resizing, etc. any easier way to do this?

You're talking about 2 cubes ontop the 'triangle' for the roof? That's very easy, and doesn't require any scaling or rotating. Cubes are easy to work with, and it's easier to just move the vertices where you want them, instead of scaling and rotating.

Can you post pictures, in case you are talking about something else? If you need a place to host them, photobucket.com does the trick.

Also, how do i texture prefabs? if i have them selected and click on a texture, it doesnt do anything...
