The ex atmo users might recognise this one. It's not an exact replica, and it isnt finished.
But, here it is for now.

Looks cool! I'm not familiar with atmo so now I'm wondering what it is you're recreating here. Care to tell a bit more? |

I'm doing a "sort-a" recreation of Atmosphere Homeworld. Homeworld was an online chat room of sorts, but was live in 3d. New and old users gathered there to just chat, ask questions, and pretty much just hang out. It was also a gateway to other atmo worlds. What I am doing, is I'm recreating something that resembles the world, and adding something else. What something else is, I don't know yet. Still working on that. I just don't want a total recreation.

I think I like your version better already. I also think you're gonna love DeleD 1.3 with it's improved lighting and CSG. Recreating that world will be a breeze. |

I'm waiting...taps foot.... just kidding.
This was just thrown together in about 10 minutes. The lightmaps aren't saved. They are only there for effect. Once this world is complete, it will get a good bomb thrown in the middle. I have to make everything to scale before I can distroy it. (the world, as with the program were distroyed by adobe, so this gets distroyed as well.) There will be a path to the new homeworld which will be a whole lot different. I haven't finalised the plans for the new one yet, but it will most likely be a cavern of somesort. Add in some Deled effects along with Irrlicht effects (or Blink3d. Whichever I end up using) and it will be a great place to visit, chat, learn.
Those are my plans anyway. now, back to my C++ books. (at least till the next version of DeleD comes out. )
Edit to add:
With the new version of DeleD, I just might be able to make the light look like a real globe.
