Hi,

I really feel frustrated right now...

I spent hours on a model project - it was almost finished, and i made an error, so decided to go back to an earlier version of my model, only to find i get this error, on loading the various back ups i made:

TScene.Load: TScene.Load110.NAN is not a valid floating point value

I cant believe it....

Steve

HI,

Im happy now!!!

I opened up the dmf file in notepad, and searched for 'Nan'
I found lots of mentions of this, and simply replaced all occurances with a 0, saved the amendment and then loaded the new file back into Dele D, and my map showed up fine, without any problems.

That's the same problem I had. I changed 'NAN' to 0.0 tho. Now, check out where your lights are. Laughing Mine ended up piled in the middle of the floor.

Just want you guys to know we are working on this, we take this issue very seriously.

(a) first of all, we are trying to figure out what is causing the NaN's to occur. I am investigating trucker2000's dmf to see what might have caused it, but if you have any other dmf's where the NaN's are still present I am very interested in taking a look.

(b) We will apply a 'hotfix' in our saving routines that will replace NaN's by zero's. If we can't figure out (a) we might add a little warning messagebox ('NaN's have been encountered, please contact us and tell us what you have just been doing'). Might be a little bit annoying to the users, but in the long run it is more importantly that we get this bug sorted out good Smile

Thanks for bearing with us!

Luckily, when i replaced all the NaNs to 0, my lights remained intakt, which i must admit did surprise me!

Also, is the latest version of Dele D more stable yet with its 3d view?? cos i wish to use transparency, but have had to go back to the 1.22 version?

Thanks

Steve

I am sorry, but I have no idea what you are referring to Embarassed As far as I know there are no stability issues at all.
