First up thank you to all involved in the creation of this great peice of software .... I am very new to 3d modelling and have been experimenting with various demos / freeware programs and this seems by far the most user freindly.
Anyway on with my questions ....
1 .. i have imported a model from poser, i used progmesh to reduce the polygon count but now my human figure needs tidying up. I cant seem to find the correct button to select individual polygons to erase them, can anyone help.
2 .. while im here my next project is to add textures ... is it possible to select individual parts of my model and assign a texture to it ... if so could someone tell my in lamens terms how to do this please.
thank you

Both problems can be solved like this:
In the right-top corner of DeleD, you'll find the edit mode buttons. You select Polygonmode for deleting polygons and face mode for assigning other textures to the polygons. In both mode, you press shift and select the polygon, you want to select with left mouse button. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

Ive tried this method with several different models but it dosent seem to work on them either - i know its something stupid im not doing but i cant figure out what .... any ideas ? |

For selecting Faces or Polygons, you have to have an object selected, so first select an object in object mode, then switch to polygon mode, then select the faces. Selecting objects, you again do by pressing shift. If everything works right, you should see the polygon in a red silhouette. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it
