I don't know why, but after I lightmap my world and save, (saves by clicking on the save button) my lights move. That pic is of all my spotlights. They all moved to 0,0,0. My point lights are still where they belong. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

You are absolutely right, something odd is going on:
1) If I only put some spotlights in a scene, save, then reload the scene, the center of the spotlights suddenly has moved to the center of the scene.
2) If I add more objects and repeat, the spotlights themselves move to the center of the scene.
We'll figure out what's wrong, and get things fixed for 1.34. Thanks for reporting this! |

Couldn't it be better when you have a DeleD Bugzilla or such?

Just to let you know, this is still happening in 1.34 eccept for spotlights added in 1.34. If I take a scene that I made in 1.33 or before, the spotlights move to 0,0,0. If I add a spot to that same scene using 1.34, then stay where I put them.

Sindwiller: Nah, bugzilla is most likely a bit overkill for a project of this scale. Besides, Bugzilla is a bit ... technology driven and unfriendly in ways, which might stop our arty non-techy users from posting bugs they might have reported otherwise.
Trucker: Hmmm, why not interpret that the other way around? I think that what you just reported simply means the spotlight position is already lost upon saving the scene 1.33 or before. This is exactly the bug we fixed: on first load, light center would revert to (0,0,0). On first save after that, the light position would be reverted to (0,0,0) in the file as well.
There is no way 1.34 can recover from that. As far as I know, things work fine in 1.34, that is: until you provide me additional information that proves otherwise |

I think you are correct. The reason I'm thinking this is becouse all the lights I've added in 1.34 have retained their positions.
I'll keep working with this till my project is finished. (it's almost done now)
I was just giving you a heads up. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
