It looks quite funny, but [OT] i find those spyware something popups on your site unacceptable which appear even on firefox. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

Sorry about the pop-ups; AOL and FireFox don't block them, but IE does (go figure). Oh, by the way, someone on the Irrlicht forum said that the first Eric game was "cool." Also, you'll need 7-Zip to open the split archives. |

I think spending 2 or 3 nights spiffing up the homepage (most importantly: moving it to a different provider without the popups) would definitely pay off. I think it looks very funny too, but having to go through various popups for every single screenshot quickly put me off from attempting to look at them any further, let alone download the product. Also, a homepage with spyware-spawning popups makes me (and probably a lot of potential users) very suspicious of your downloads.
I know you are offering this for free, so you don't want to spend too much money, but please do yourself the favor of doing this right! You will be rewarded with lots more (and a lot happier) users that way! |

I agree with PJ here. In fact, as I am very much afraid of spyware/popups/etc, I won't visit your site until it is save to do so. Please keep us posted if/when you moved to a better place on the net. |

What spyware? Why does everything get lumped into spyware now? Only thing I see is a popup for winfixxer, and a page that is really hard to read. |

A popup for Winfixxer in itself is not spyware.
I run Firefox, and the free AVG (anitvirus) program, and I've never had any spyware slip through. His page has just 1 harmless popup. |

Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention that the patch improves the game's graphics and makes the ending better. It's only on the actual website, though, but I may soon upload it to EzUpload.org. |

Patch:
Here's the patch. Just unzip it into the game's directory.
http://www.ezupload.org/?w=download&id=12739&name=PATCH1122.ZIP
It fixes some bugs, adds fog, and makes the ending more easy to understand. The saving bug hasn't been fixed, though. So if you find yourself falling thru walls, just reload your saved game and it'll work. |
