They look really nice. The wood rexture on the house and that sort of stonebrick texture are "streched". But it's nice |

Wow, not bad! The textures are self-made, right?
I find some textures a bit too "clean", maybe you could add some dirt or some scarves to it, for the half timbered walls for example.
//edit
Or add some details over there! Plants or barrels or whatever stuff there should be (if that wouldn't make your polygon count be too high) _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

These are shots of just the map model. There are various incidental models that are intended to be strewn about... Flower planters, lamp posts, signs, weeds, etc... but those are not finished yet. I will be going back through and distressing the textures slightly later too. I'm not a real big fan of that idea like most seem to be these days though. I believe most people take that far too far. They start off with a nice model of a house, for example and till they're done distressing the texture, it looks like a slum.
These are mostly my own textures, derived from pictures I've taken. I carry a digital camera with me and when I see something that would make a good texture I snap a shot of it for use later. For example the white part of the half-timbered buildings is made from a picture I took of a smooth glazed garage floor. There are however a few hand drawn ones and even fewer that were made from images found on the internet or free licensed prepared textures. |

I've started creating bump maps. I know they're a pain in the butt to do, but the effect is worth the effort. Here's a little comparison pre- and post-bump mapping.

Great work G-Man! Those bumpmaps will make your scene much more attractive than it already is. |

The screenshot itself is a very nice example of bumpmap use, imho. Lots better than the common 'look at my specular shine on this brick wall' you see everywhere Good job! |

Just wondering, how would one create a bumpmap for a particular texture? |

That does look great.
I'm wondering the same as Jeroen. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
