Excellent work Dave, as usual. Can't wait for Paul's lighting routines to see this temple lit up.
Also, nocturn is creating a number of textures for us all to use freely. Maybe that pack will also contain a few nice medieval textures... |

That's correct. For more extruding fun, first use Inset on 1 of the ending-polygons and then extrude the new created middle-polygon. |

I have a hard time selecting the newly created polygon - I always end up having several others selected, too... |

I do most of the selecting in the Top view. Create your cylinder, inset the top polygon, then select it in Polygon mode using shift+leftmouse.
