Hi Jeroen and happy new year (better late than never, hehehe)
Sure! Gtkradiant works great in Linux (in fact, I think all the GTK windowing system comes from linux and was ported to windows) but then there's the Quake 3 map legal issues (not to mention the bsp and level editor rights-ID owns Gtkradiant).
But since my engine of choice is Irrlicht, I'd love to use Deled for it since It's proven it works great with the engine But, I got NP using windows; I just like to always have a linux box for testing purposes and comparing how Irrlicht apps run on both OSs. |

Thx afecelis.
Jereon, well, it isnt a "real" leveleditor but theres some open-source modelers like Wings3D or Blender ported... äh, i meaned, developed on Linux. There are some ports of big commercial modelers too (Maya tought). But "real" leveleditors like one DeleD is (or Hammer; I dont like Radiant/Gtkradiant) arent ported to or developed on Linux.
I will start tomorrow with the new model. Fear the power of GNU (aww, i most reboot for that :/ ).
