Late Christmas gift to the forum as our site was in the process of switching servers and I was unable to upload it before now!! Feel free to use it as you will! It was created with Geoscape2 (no longer available).
A simple terrain with texture, in DMF format zipped up.

I hope to have the site reloaded to the new server in 48 hours. The X Commenter link works again or will. |

Cool, thanks for the gift
As a hint to other downloaders: to fit the scale of most DeleD-made models, I found it convenient to scale this landscape back to about 10 percent of it's original size (and moving it down the z-axis until it's about aligned with the scene center). |

I need some feedback on this one:
http://www.warfareunlimited.com/files/test83.zip
Vertices were reduced to 1664 from 60k+ and texture pixel density increased, in dpf format. I need to know if it looks decent on other systems. Like the first set, this terrain is preDeleD lightmapped at 90 degrees and is of a mountain area with heavy erosion.
I am working on some seasonal effects also, so future terrains may have multiple textures to correspond to the seasonal changes.
Second set is in progress, look for fiord's, volcano's, plateau's and a special terrain in this set. |

Freeworld3d terrain editor(alpha version 2.1). A release version soon I hope. Actually the road tracks to the terrain with minimal raising and lowering of the terrain to fit the road. WIP for the road mesh to be exported I am told.
Site is http://www.freeworld3d.org , an interesting app if you do terrains. |
