There is also Torque game engine It's a full fledged game engine that you can use without any programming at all. (if you like the demo game and replace their objects with theirs) The only problem with it is that DeleD objects won't work in it. Yet. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Except when you export it to another format. Well, but it costs 100$, right? And it has shipped in editors... i dont like this kind of editors.

Ive looked at IrrWizard. It should be cool but it seems it has problems with long directoriy-paths... and it seems too that this stupid irrlicht folder is write-protected?!

Yes, it's $100 for the entire engine. You can use their editors, or make one of your own. DeleD is looking at making an exporter for torque. (I'm waiting somewhat patiently)
The one thing I like about it is that it comes with a demo game that you can use as a base for your own game without any programming other than changing names of objects.
I also like Irrlicht, but you are correct, it takes a lot of programming.
Blink3D is looking good too. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

If it doesnt exist any Torque exporter for DeleD, i wont license it.
I have started licensing the CSPGE, but it has some bank problems .

try that one. ( it has an outdated graphics engine though.. ) |
I dont like RF very much... It uses G3D. Ive tried G3D two years before and it sucks.

ya, me either.. last I heard they were going to switch to irrlicht, but that is a bit far-fetched.
I would have mentioned Irrlicht if it wasn't just a graphics engine. I still think it's a very good choice, IMO. |
