Thanks, it works.
I added instruction for compiling the DeleD Lazaus port in ReadMe.txt file.
I will send another message later.
Regards.

This is amazing! Does a lazarus port imply that we will be able to use deled on linux/mac? |

You join the DeleD Lazarus port experiment?

I'm always interested in porting, and for some reason doubly in the two remaining reasons (MDI and scanline)
Zeljan worked on MDI, and afaik it should be working in trunk, but I never tested it.
Afaik scanline mainly means keeping GDI images and other images apart. If notyou have to copy between timage and tlazintfimage.
I have my own image type in Delphi, but FPC doesn't work with it yet (generics). Sven is working on it though

I didn't quite understand your idea. What should DeleD host? Preferred version of what?
|
A complete recommended development system, consisting out of a Lazarus and FPC combo. Eliminating most versioning. |

Ok, now it would make sense because a recent Lazarus trunk is needed. The new components are not in released versions yet.
In future it will change when the current trunk becomes Lazarus 1.2.
Then the standard download / install system can be used.
True, Lazarus 1.2 may take some time. Major releases don't happen very often.

Installed no problem on my win7 system using CodeTyphon latest version. Changed dependencies Graphics32 and Pascalscript to pl_graphics32 and pl_pascalscript respectively as explained by a poster on the Lazarus forum. Compiles just nicely.

That's terrific news! Now let's see if more programmers are willing to contribute to DeleD's development. That would be awesome! _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
