I am trying to texture a model of a human .. i am managing to add textures by highlighting certain areas and adding the desired texture however my model has a lot of polygons and this method is leaving my model looking rather messy.
is there a more acurate way of pinpointing certain ploygons & how i know if the polygon i have selected is at the front or the back of my model.
also is there a way to veiw the textured scene without the white polygon outlines & have the the other 3 veiws selected ?

This may sound like a bummer, but I wouldn't use DeleD to texture a human model. The current texturing routines are most suitable for texturing levels but not for texturing organics. We'll be implementing a skinning module in the future and in the mean time, you could use a program like LithUnwrap (3Dunwrap maybe) which is specialized in texturing all kinds of models. |
