Hi StigDesign, and thanks for your suggestions!

Although the things you describe are really cool, we won't be adding animation to DeleD anything soon. We decided to concentrate on static objects for the time being, as implementation of animation will take a great deal of time. I'm not saying we won't implement it ever, just not at this point in time.

I think that if lots of people start asking about animation, we will eventually implement it. As we do with other requests as well.

I use another tool for animation, and would like to see you fixing the existing bugs in DeleD before thinking about animation. Some that come to mind:

1) the re-setting of the camera when switching viewports
2) the lightmapper fall-off problem, and multi-light shadow problem
3) the lack of sub-element support in the plugin API
4) hierarchy and/or marker dummies tied to specific objects
