Hi

Now i have the DeleD Pro version and can start. But my next problem is the question which developement environment is the better. I have 3D Game Studio. But here is the problem that have a bad support from 3D modelling and level software. Another Software i have is Revolution3D and NemoX, this are Basic programming languages but i think the developement is stoped.
I have the demo from Torque, but i dont understand C++. I can programming in Basic and Delphi. I have Delphi 7, Delphi 2005 and Visual Basic 6.
Have somebody an idea or a suggestion for me.

Well, as DeleD is being developed in Delphi, I'd go for Delphi anyday. But I'm opinionated of course. Wink

Seriously, you could take a look at Nuclear Fusion (C++ like) or check the Nuclear Glory forums about Nuclear Basic (Basic, of course). These languages are aimed at developing 3D applications and might suit your needs. Then there are simular packages also, like BlitzBasic and DarkBasic. All have their followers, of course, and I can't say which one would be better for you. We have faith in Nuclear Glory though, which is why we are cooperating with them. Smile

Hi Jeroen

I think i have not the time to lern a comlished language like C++. I have played with the demos of Blitz3D and DarkBasicpro. I heard DarkBasicPro have to much bugs and Blitz3D is never supported. I have tested PureBasic too, which works with the ogre engine. I think PureBasic is ok, but it have only a little support (forums, tutorials).

In that case, visit the Nuclear Fusion product page:

and see the links on top of that page. Smile

Question Question Question

It is IMO.
B3D forum is huge, and there's always someone there to help you if you need some advice ; + there's a lot of code examples flying around.

Not acting as a B3D defender here, but ... your sentence was a bit too "heavy" IMO Wink

Perhaps you can tell me which car I should buy? I tried a Suburban, but it took too much gas, and my golf clubs won't fit in a Mini.

:-)

Seriously, though, you might want to consider Visual Basic .NET if you want to stay with Basic. It can interface to Managed DirectX for loading and displaying and animating meshes. It can also interface to some extent with the XNA Community Technology Preview (Microsoft's new version of Managed DirectX which lets you run code on both Windows and the Xbox 360).
