Another minor release.
Changes since last version:
1.03 (2006-11-04)
---------------------
- The exporter now exports at a larger precision (floats in stead of integers).
- This means that detailed objects (like small cylinders) can be exportered much more accurately.
- Unfortunately, it also means that map2dif.exe can no longer be used for export purposes, only map2dif_plus.exe |

That figures. I just this morning noticed I was still using the older pluggin and upgraded. Now I have to upgrade again.
Great job PJ. Thankgoodness upgrading is as easy as "download, unzip, move"
As for anyone using tge 1.5, you will need to use the map_2_dif_plus for 1.5 for all the lighting features to work. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Madcowthomas: *lol* Thanks for the nice words, you mad cow you!
Trucker: Good point about the new map2dif_plus. In the background I have been doing some work on integrating map2dif_plus into the exporter, but if Garagegames keeps updating their tool frequently I'm not sure full integration is the way to go.
Meanwhile, there is a whole lot of other areas that need improvement. I am currently working on getting the cutting algorithm stable enough to properly cut a torus (or an arch ). That's my goal for the upcoming release. |
