|
|
Hi All,
Glad to post here for my Game System Framework
under managed code with XNA-Game Studio Express.
Though XNA still in beta stage, I managed to load
a DMF file and it will be use as the OFFICIAL LEVEL
EDITOR for Project-Z.
Here's some early screenshot of DMF file rendered
under XNA graphic device. Though I dont use any
xna content pipeline, It's a user primitive vertex
filled with my own DMF parsing.

Hopefully my mom's gift would be an XBOX360
this christmas for me to be able to join XNA
"Creator's Club" and to see the actual DMF
Level running @ High frame rates at 1080p
under managed code in a wide screen television. LOL.)
Cheers

Thankz paul.
BTW:
Ah finally I managed to run/collide/walk around a DELGINE map level
in pure managed code under xna, initially I thought it's gonna be slow
because im using .Net framework and XNA, but I think(IMO) MS poeple
did a great job to XNA.

Looks cool, but why the hell are you filming your screen? There is software for these things.
Does the collision also run great on larger maps like this one? _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

I'm implementing my own type of quadtree space partitioning, basically only triangles culled from the camera frustum view will be tested for collision and for rendering even for a bigger map.
Nice level, I almost lost there finding the way out, lols
Heres some of shots from your level

I tried to use fraps, unforetunately it offers a limited framerates
and gives me larger file size, I'll try to take look for something better.
Cheers. |

As an alternative to Frapp, a completely different approach to capturing is taken by kkapture:

It might not work for your particular situation, but the idea is pretty good. And the guys from farb-rausch are awesome anyway, so it's always a good idea to point people to their stuff... |

Hi guys, here's my final video and entry for the DBP XNA contest, tho I'm not expecting to win in any category due to the steep competition, but being an entrant and have something to show really feels good .
The level here is pure DELED map and the arena lights is really DELED lightmaps by just manipulating the color inside the program looks like it was really blinking when something explodes wihtin the arena, no heavy shading stuff in here just a little blurring the screen.
I'm also planning to join SHUMP competition after a tiring months finishing my DBP entry , I believe DELED team is one of the sponpors of SHUMP contest. Aryt, I'm aftering that one copy of DeleD PRO.
BTW, I tried KKapture and it is a great tool, but I use TAKSI for this feed.

Million Kudos to DELGINE team. |

*WOW* Absolutely love the gameplay video, very slick and polished. And congratulations on getting your entry finished and submitted, that's a great achievement in itself. Thanks for posting this!
I have to say... that's one though boss to beat, takes a whole lot of shooting and strafing! Gameplay along those lines will surely do very well in the SHMUP contest... And yes, we are indeed one of the (proud) sponsors! |

Fun gameplay video. I like it that you can run faster than the rockets fly :-)
You should do something about the loading time, though... |

Heh, the action in this one is even better than the other video... but [SPOILER AHEAD] our poor little (ok, not so little) mech dies in the end! Oh no! |
