Want to offer to basically package of the editor or as additional plugin for DeleD was created importer\exporter in format .ac ( AC3D - http://www.ac3d.org ). Joint use DeleD c AC3D has shown that this very ingenious several tools , appears the possibility to increase functionality , particularly for Level Design , since AC3D will die to execute several unique operations , but herewith remains has no instrument for export.

Just to make sure we are on the same level: you are requestion a .AC importer/exporter for DeleD here, right?
Are you using some online translator to write in English? If so, you might want to look at an alternative tool, because the post above was really hard to understand (no offense intended, we know how difficult it is to express oneself in a vastly different language). |

AC3D already imports and exports a few formats that DeleD can read. _________________

Yes. But have problem: .obj not allways correctly read from DeleD after 2-3 transfer in AC3D to DeleD and back. And .obj too not better format for transfer from programs. AC3D is optimally. Sorry, but AC3D have better tools for transformation brushes, but do not have important exporters in game engines =/. May be need added several sprecial tools for comfortable working? In nearest time me posted new suggestion how to may modify tools Deled. Hope my suggest may be usefull =) |

The AC3D file format might be "optimal", but it is very specific (i.e. it only affects one particular pipeline, AC3D <-> DeleD). I'd be more than willing to take a shot at writing some plugins for it, but most of the other urgen tasks piling on my virtual desk have a higher priority (as they affect more people). Perhaps someone else can take up the task?
About the .obj export/import problem: if you encounter any problems with DeleD's .obj importer/exporter, make sure to tell us that we need to solve it (sending us the .obj/.dxs that is causing the problem usually helps, too). If there is a bug in a plugin, I'd like to solve it in stead of writing new plugins as a workaround...
Oh, and your suggestions for DeleD and the plugins are always appreciated, thanks for sticking with us! |
