is it possible to edit prefabs by vertexes (i.e. select a vertex and move it and all other polygons connected to that vertex change shape with it.).

also can you weld and merge objects together by vertex?

and can you load up images into the background to work from (i.e. concept art)?

thanks in advance for the answers =D

Hi there Xsjado123, and welcome to these forums! Smile

About your questions:

1. Yes, you can edit vertices and all related geometry is changed accordingly.

2. Welding vertices is possible. Merging by vertex isn't though. A normal merge objects commands is available.

3. Background images are supported.

Cheers!

If you need to merge vertex, you need to merge object Wink. If your question is for emplacement of vertex and quality link you can make some average in point mode and after make merge object

To the background image you can create à rectagle with one side and put your texture with the texture editor

There is no prefab mode. Select the prefab you want, click in the scene to create one, and then it becomes a normal part of the scene, and you can edit what you wish. Select 'o' to select an object, then 'v' to go to vertex mode and select and manipulate any vertex you want.

You can't manipulate anything if you didn't select an object first.
