Yes, we are working hard towards DeleD 1.0 PRO (and LITE for that matter). For example, a Material Editor will have to be implemented before users can really use the power of lightmapping in DeleD. We also want more import/export plugins developed. Those are just a few examples of things yet to be implemented. We have the first release of DeleD PRO planned for januari 2005. More info later.

Sure, here you go. WIP:

You can see the current Scene Materials in the upperright window. The layers of of the currently selected material are displayed on the left side. The available textures (as listed in directories in the DeleD texture directory) are shown in the lowerright window.

So, simply select a material and adjust its layers by dragging & dropping textures onto it or by assigning colors to the layers. You can add new materials and/or import materials from other scenes. I think I will allow deletion of materials as well.

Anyway, it's not finished by far yet. The actual blending of the layers has to be implemented as well as adding new materials (and material categories) and importing them from other scenes. Also, the fileformat has to be expanded to allow for different types of layers (color versus texture). Lots of work still ahead of us but you can see we're well on our way.

There is support for 4 layers. However, the 4th layer is being used for lighting and can't be set by the user using the Material Editor. Smile

So when all this nice shit is in the LITE version, why should I buy the PRO version. You know what I do for a living and that money is hard earned cash. Laughing

Or could you give me a free copy, 'cause I'm so fre*king cool Cool

Have a happy new year and see you next year again. Shocked

You should buy the PRO version because it contains even more 'shit' as you like to call it.
