Deled has always worked on Vista, assuming you have working OPenGL drivers. That doesn't count Intel in some cases, because lots of people complain elsewhere that the drivers are worthless, and don't work with other thigns either.

In Vista there is a bug where DeleD will not shut down properly, and it will use up 100% of a cpu (or core) until you shut it down with the task manager. (CTRL-SHIFT-ESC).

It's a small annoyance, but other than that it works fine. I've been using DeleD in Vista for 5 months now.

The 'official news on Vista support' is that we are currently working on it, and DeleD 1.8 will be fully Vista compatible... assuming you have proper OpenGL drivers, like Daaark already emphasised.

OpenGL support (and graphics driver support in general) on Vista doesn't seem to be 100% on par yet, but we are hoping the vendors will get things sorted out soon. I'd rather not be pushed into rewriting the DeleD rendering layer in DirectX just because Vista's OpenGL support is lacking at this point (there are much more interesting things to spend our dev. time on).

Jeroen

Nice additions...really cool....still playing around with it. I am hoping you will add in due time...the "Lathe function" using "points" to create a shape rather than "line function".I don't know if this is possible but will be a great addition.I have issues with using the existing "Lathe function";it just doesn't work properly. I need more tutorials I suppose as far as "Lathing"I look around and found only one but didn't really didn't expalin much....any suggestions?
