well i was modelling and when i wanted to make the lightmapping i got this...(in the second picture are given the pointlight properties)....maybe it's an error of mine...i'm not too good at lightmapping you know...so please let me know your ideas...

oh ...and BTW it doesn't cast shadows in the other side....it only makes the scene darker....the shadow opacity is of 25....i changed it lots of times but i still get the same lightmapping Crying or Very sad

Make sure you aren't baking the ambient light into your lightmaps. It's broken to hell in DeleD and will cause that if you have a bright color, even worse if you have a dark color.

Go to the program options and toggle that off.

i'm not sure with this one but somethimes when i place a light in an object it doesn't cast so try to lift you point light a little up so it doesn't touch the gras and then try?

the light is on the right top side of the map....without touching anything Very Happy

In that case, it would help if the light meshes weren't the size of the Eiffel tower. Rolling Eyes Laughing

yeah it seams that your meshes are far to small, the point lights are more like the size of a football over here, it looks like your objects are as big as a truck Razz

Well, from the looks of it it seems like your whole scene is only 3 times the size of the light... but that could be perspective lying.

It's a bit hard to tell from the screenshot, really. Perhaps you can post a link to the .dxs, so we can take a look? You can also mail it to paul [at] delgine [dot] com if you prefer that...

FIXED!....you were all right...i had to scale the whole scene (meging every object in it first)...and the i generated the lightmapping...this is what i got
