I just noticed my top view went away! Is there any way I can get it back and reset all the views to the default quad-tree view like?
(Using Lite) |

Click on "view" in the top nav bar, then "add view" to choose the one you are missing. Check at the very bottom of the screen under the other windows tho to make sure it's not there. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Add View is disabled in Lite version.
Also, tiling views does nothing.
If I close all views and restart Deled, it shows all 4 again... but after a reboot, the first one was gone again. Repeated the trick and worked again... let's see for how long.
To Deled devs - I think it's a bit silly to give us the ability to CLOSE a window without the ability to create a new one in it's place for Lite users... |

This happens when you used an UV view and then closed DeleD. Fik wrote a fix for this recently:
Quote: |
the fix i have found when this happens is to open the Deled.ini file in notepad and find the section like this
[ViewPorts]
numOfViewPorts=3
ViewPort1=0,521,439,0,0,-1
ViewPort2=1,521,439,439,0,-1
ViewPort3=2,521,439,0,521,-1
erase all, then restart deled and it corrects . seems thatt in lite if you have a UV window open this does not get written to ini file when you close.
|
DeleD 1.8 will have this fixed permanently.

Does DeleD save the last window config when you exit. Because sometimes when I start bit, it only shows one window, or it's missing a window, it is normally though when I've been using the UV editor. |

Yes, DeleD stores the view settings in the INI file but it contains a bug when using the UV editor and then closing DeleD. DeleD 1.8 will have that problem fixed. |
