i've got some question about the material editor
will the material editior be release in the lite version of deled ?
will we be able to use some textures in order to create a new material ?

I'm sure Jeroen will have more elaborate answers to this question, but the short answers would be YES and YES. The material editor will be in both lite and pro versions (as it fully replaces the old texturepack editor). You can make materials consisting only of one color or texture, or you can combine different textures and/or colors into a single material.

The purpose of multiple layers of textures in the material editor is for multi-texturing, it isn't really meant to be used as a quick-and-dirty way to create new textures. However, everyone is free to use it however he/she likes of course Smile

I can also tell you that all this is a lot of work to implement properly, so that's why I am still coding at this hour in stead of being in bed sleeping off my newyear's eve hangover like I should Wink
