well...i was bored and tincho sent me some screenshots of an old f1 car he had made...so i decided to model this... Embarassed ....as you can see it's not finished yet...i already had the rear wheels, 2 more spoilrers....but because of beveling all vertex i lost all that

Embarassed
so...here are the pics

OF COURSE YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN MODELS AND POST THEM HERE

i'm waiting to your model Dave... Razz Cool

here is my F1, these are screenshots from an half year ago but i never finished him because cars aren't really my thing: (also began on texturing, but this is really a big WIP) (and ussually i don't like to post big wips Razz ) the measurment are exactly the same as the ferrari F1 car because i used very detailed reference's.

maybe i will finish the 2 spoilers that were removed and the wheels...

oh and BTW....elementrix....how did you get such a smoothed piece without loosing any face going around Rolling Eyes (such thing has happened to me Embarassed )

if you select your model(s), go to vertex mode - select all - weld with distance "2" and then smooth it should work, that's how my friend got rid of that and some other people here.

That may happen when you extrude faces in a wrong way (i.e. leave "keep original polygon" enabled). Make sure there are no faces "inside" of the object that are connected with the surface.
