|
|
I tried DeleD 1.36 about a year ago. So, the other day I downloaded the 1.73 and tried it again. I was very impressed with the new lathe, polyline, and uv mapping tools. IMO, it is the best non-BSP engine level editor that I can find without going to commercial tools like the Lithtech level editor, DEdit. I read that DeleD was going up in price at the end of this month, so yesterday I bought the Nuclear Fusion and the DeleD combo. These new features of DeleD makes it a pretty advanced program guys. I am looking forward to the extra advantages of the pro edition, like dds support mostly. I just thought I'd drop you a line and let you know how much I liked your level editor with the new improvements. I am looking forward to using this program in combination with my other tools.
Thanks,
Coty |

Yeah, ive noticed that the DeleD dev team is great at not breaking stuff.
They know how to handle a code repository.
Others softwares cough* Milkshape3D cough* in each version they break stuff.
As a programmer i understand the reasons , so i can say that DeleD Dev team is great !
:p cheers |

Yeah, that's a good point - also the developer-community communication is top notch. Not only does stuff not break when new releases hit the presses, but they're always up for a suggestion/feedback from the customer. To me that's a big must that not every developer seems to have! |

Yeah ,they have a excelent suport.
well all the DeleD community is pretty nice, is by far the best forum that i've read, there are not insults ,or lack of respect to another members.
And the newcomers are treated as diserved , and not like 'its a noob destroy him!' like every forum.
DeleD is pretty nice on all aspects
EDIT: typo,and another typo

That very much includes our testteam. Without our dedicated testers, DeleD wouldn't be what it is today. |
