Hi Delgine people
I have a very small feature request:
My bro was playing with deled, and found out that when he made a cube, it turned out to be a plane (cube without a third dimention). He asked me what was going on. After e little while we figured out that it was because of the snap tool. The grid was so big that his cube was snapped to grid, and therefore flattened. So when using deled with snap-to-grid enabled may lead to unexpected results sometimes.
Maybe you can add a little warning for this or something. When someone tries to make a primitive which is snapped and turns out to be something unexpected, it's nice to have a red text in the statusbar, telling that he should take a look at his snapping settings (I'm only talking about primitive creation here). You could e.g compare the dimentions of the cube with the current grid settings. When the cube dimentions are smaller, show the message.
Not a realy important feature request. Just thought you should know.

You can select the gridsize with 1-7, so it won't snap that easy to a plane. _________________ ♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠ |

I think it's a pretty good suggestion. We have considered making it impossible to create primitives that snap to zero height/width/depth, but didn't want to rule out the possibility that sometimes that is exactly the behaviour you want (although DeleD still generates some zero-area surfaces in that case). |

Best sollution: Add an option that, when enabled, prevents creation of zero-dimention primitives. |

press F8? and if it then still dissapears you really are building your scene on a way to small scale. _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |
