It would be nice to have the "Lightmaps Only" feature in the 3D View so that you have: Wireframe, Solid, Textured, Lightmaps, Textured + Lightmaps. It is a lot easier to see your lightmapping process. So that you have just a blank white texture and the lightmaps applied to it, similar to UnrealEd:

Agreed. I have asked for this a ton of times. I often make a copy of my scene, and then use a white color material on everything and then light it.

However, I think wire frame should also be an optional overlay in any mode.

And btw, that's a beautiful shot.

Its not from me just an example i grabbed somewhere up. I agree too with the wireframe as an overlay. Also, i don't think that this is not hard to implement, i'm just worried about the Hotkeys F1-F11 is already in use Laughing

Agree too in implementing it, it gives an incredible "touch" to the scenes

Yeah, interface decisions are the biggest part with stuff like this. The actual implementation is a breeze. Good suggestion btw!
