A Button i could use very often I have various Texture Folders containing all my Textures (Floors, Roofs, Walls, ...) and each time i start a scene and want to try different Textures i need to add them all by hand.
I've wrote a batch for that ages ago but i think now is the time for a suggestion since i lost it :p |

I must second that. The material editor is the bottleneck of the workflow if you use scenes with many textures. |

i wrote a little app that generate a "default.dml" file using a folder to makes categorys and materials.
sorry my english lacks a bit...
i made a subfolder named "default" in deled's texture directory here i'll put subfolders
so i have
textures /
textures / system <------ do not move this one
textures / default <------ you must use this to store categories
here i put the categories folders so i have
textures / default/ wood
textures / default/ metal
textures / default/ nature
i launch the application and it generate a new "default.dml" folders are categorys and textures in each folders are materials.
you can set an option at first launch to run deled after the update.
you can download it here http://zorgrage.dyndns.org/deled/dir2textures.rar
there's 2 version in the archive a 64bit ant a X86 version |
