Some objects don't have vertex snapping on by default because it doesn't make sense. If you created a sphere with vertex snapping, it would get ruined!
Make sure the SNAP text on the bottom toolbar is bolded by double clicking on it, and then make sure your object has a snap mode.
1) Select your object
2) Right click and select properties in the context menu that pops up
3) select the snapping mode you want. NONE, Vertex, Center _________________

Even with snapping set to Vertex or Center, an object being moved won't get moved by grid increments. It is moved by exactly the amount you drag your mouse. Upon releasing the mouse button, the object gets snapped to the nearest gridpoint(s). _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app! More powerful 3D tools for free. |
