Warning: This scene contains blood, violence and limping zombies. Not recommended to look at if you can't stand any of these things.

So, the joy of working with DeleD got me again, though i haven't practiced for a long time now.

I finally decided on an environment, it is Route 66.

The scene will show a creepy, abandoned gas station / motel at night. With zombies!

Scene is far from finished, I want to add lots of detail work. Also, zombies.

Here's what I got so far:

This will be about the viewpoint of the final screenshot.

close up of the store.[/b]

Heh. I pass a gas station on Route 66 that looks just like that one. Very Happy I'll have to take a pic of it next time I pass it.
It's looking really good. I like the theme too.
(that's route 66 in California)

Ha, Route66, WITH zombies, an awesome theme to pick! Love where you are going with this.

Trucker: But... does it have ZOMBIES?

Do you consider drugged up druggies zombies? Well, they kinda look like zombies anyway. Very Happy I'd bet Mr. Fletcher comes up with some better looking ones tho. Very Happy

I like it. There seems to be no sense of scale though.

It is actually one of the first scenes where I use the grid and a firm scale of some kind Laughing

It's the shelves and the can that make me think that.

Gentlemen. A zombie.

I can't texture the thing yet, but I hope I will get to it next week!

(Also, bones would be really helpful here Laughing)

Amazing. I wanted to get people in my scene too, but I'm not sure to even attempt it.

Added textures and some other things. I also UVmapped + textured the zombie, but it doesn't look as great as I wished. I'll probably add three or four of them in different poses and then work on the texture again.
I need to work on the ground too, add some bushes, grass, etc.

Very cool. I think you need to work on the inside of the store a bit. It's too bright, and it hasn't been wrecked enough.

Adding those textures and that mean looking zombie really spices up the scene! Excellent work there, Fletcher! Very Happy
