I was wondering when Deled 2.0 was coming out....b/c i want to be able to animate stuff! I looked at an older post and it said second quarter 2008 i think...isn't it fourth quarter 2008 now? Well anyways just wondering

second quarter can't be because that's when the plan came, DeleD 2.0 will be released somewhere in the first half of 09(but you should always consider delay, so just be patient.)

you shouldn't take it lightly because animation is quite some work to make, if you rush it it won't be good.

okay...i just want to make my spaceships be able to fly and shoot their guns! lol...i suppose i'll look for another anim program

We would like to release DeleD somewhere in the first 3 months of 2009. The problem is that both Paul-Jan and myself are experiencing a very busy period right now (daily work & private stuff) and DeleD development has slowed down quite a bit. Also, the refactoring of some parts of DeleD has taken much more time than expected. But I'm not worried about that because DeleD will benefit from the refactored parts a lot in the future. It's worth the time invested. Smile

So anyway... we're aiming for the first quarter of 2009. We'll keep you posted!

maybe you can put some higher poly limit in deled 2.0 i hate it that he cant allow to much polys -.-'

Sad thing is, i bought deled, it said free upgrades TILL 2.0, but not INCLUDING 2.0, so i want to ask, how much will the upgrade cost?

yes, i hope its less than 25$

It will be my perfect tool, can make low poly character as well, UV mappoing can be done too, all will be good with 2.0

Will there be a rendering system?, so we can make like render our animation, and make short movies Razz

I think that I saw somewhere, sometime ago, that the update for pro users would be around 25USD, so... Very Happy

But i think deled should cost more than 100 $ if it comes with animaation, because it is awesome, but hope the upgrade stays the same Razz
