"CharacterFX is a character animation tool, created for gamers, artists, modellers and hobbyists. It allows you to breathe live into your meshes using skeletal animation and advanced tools like Inverse Kinematics or Weighted Vertices, but still it is easy enough to use for all levels of computer graphic artists.
CharacterFX is especially usefull for game developers who need an affordable animation solution. It comes with exporters that allow you to easily get your animated characters into DarkBasic Professional or Blitz 3D, and a SDK is available allowing custom import and export filters. "

Wow.. looks great.
Will check it out now!
Edit:
Well, It's a nice program, but there are some things i don't like:
The toolbar, because it's big and (almost) empty. I don't like big things taking up valuable monitor space. Moreover, i could not find an option to hide this toolbar.
The program hides the taskbar, which i think is not good at all.
The interface looks weird and some things are only half-visible. It's probably because I have a higher DPI.
I got an AV during the first 5 minutes of usage.
But the ninja animation (downloadable from the site) looks and moves very nicely, and i like the lua-script support. |
