For some odd reason, DeleD is acting up on me. I can UV map an object and scale that uv in all directions eccept the Y (up/down).
Anyone know what I can check to figure this out? None of the lock direction buttons have ever been used, and none are depressed.

Check/uncheck one of the UV lock buttons (or the y-dir one, forget). There's a bug where one of the UV direction buttons is already locked when you start up Deled.

looks like you haven't used UV's for a VERY VERY long time, this bug is still not fixed after almost 9 months?

Nope, because we're not working on bugfixes right now, especially those for which there is a workaround. But don't worry, this will be addressed in the next release.

After the next release? Isn't that a bug that can be fixed in like 30 seconds?

That might be, but every bug we fix will have to be fixed in the 2.0 release also which means we have to maintain code in two places : the current release and the one we're working on now. Unless absolutely necessary, we don't fix bugs right now but rather wait until after the next release.

Confused What?

It can easily be fixed, recompiled, and put back up as 1.8.00000001 and be done with. Razz

Yes, some things can easily be fixed. It's a matter of priority. We can focus on fixing issues (and then it's a matter of which issues to fix), or we can concentrate on getting 2.0 out the door (which will have this issue fixed anyway). We choose the latter. Now back on topic please. Wink

Wow. Sorry Jeroen. I didn't meant to start a firestorm.
I never noticed this problem until I reinstalled Deled again. (thought there was a different problem that didn't exist in deled)
Anyway, the problem was easy to fix. I clicked the "U" button twice, then the "V" button twice and that fixed it. Smile all is well now.
