DeleD Community Edition

I have been a corporate progammer for many years. I have developed n-tier programs, back-end programs and everything between the two.

A few weeks ago I thought it would be fun to dive into something I have never done before, Game Programming. I searched the internet and found a very nice gaming engine (although they call it a rendering engine).

After finding this engine I saw DeleD's name on some threads and decided to try it (also tried many others). The other applications that I looked at were good, but there was absolutley no support or technical information.

The community that you have here is excellent. I have never modeled anything in my life in 3D. Afer reading your tutorials (and a lot of curse words), and most important, just screwing around with the software, I have crated a nice two-level house with functioning doors, walkways and hidden areas.

My hats off to everyone on your team, I will be in line to purchase your Pro version, keep up the excellent work.

To us, the community is very, very important. The community (that is you guys ) is what keeps us going, with requests, remarks, ideas, criticism, support and, very important, helping us reproducing and fixing bugs. I think you could say DeleD is truely a Community-Driven 3D Tool

Oh, by the way, would it be too bold to ask what game engine you decided to use? If you'd rather PM this that's fine, but I am just very curious
