|
|
Hi there
Being pretty new to DeleD, I have read all the documentations and most of the forum threads conserning the Deled editor. Well done to the dev team.
I notice that textures can be scaled or flipped. Can they be scrolled left, right, up, or down?
This is quite important for precise alignment of textures, especially for those that have borders around the texture.
Thanx

Yes, moving textures is possible. Select your face in Face mode by using shift+leftmouse, turn off AutoUV in the Object Inspector and then use the Move command to move the texture around. |

Hi Jeroen
OK, I need to use the mouse to move the textures arround. Adding offsets in the dialog boxes does not work.
Thank you for your prompt responce.

Thanks for your remarks, indeed you can't use the dialog boxes (I completely forgot to implement that for moving textures, it does work for moving polygons etc). It'll be fixed in the next release.
Edit: fix as of version 0.914 |

Vampyre_Dark mentioned that moving textures doesn't seem to work fluently so I took a closer look. Found out that I was using a wrong formula to come up with a movementvector - fixed now, and indeed it's moving much better now (both in the 2Dd views and by using the Move UV window). Thanks to Vampyre for this one! |
