Okay I see, you can select multiple edges/vertices by dragging a rectangle around them. And you can add some edges/vertices by clicking on their points with shift and ctrl pressed, but why can't you add multiple edges/vertices to your selection with shift and ctrl pressed and by dragging a rectangle around them? _________________ Behold! yes, if i make levels by polylines and extrude the edges, that's not so good, do make it,... |

Another thing; I am just atm. trying something with DeleD, and see; the suggestions apper quickly
I once suggested scaling of vertices, now i suggest rotating of vertices around their centre. Oh and why are you only allowed to move a polygon at it's normal vector? Okay, it might be quite useful for some purposes, but i think you should also be able to threat them like you do it with vertices, concerning moving etc. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Scaling of vertices has been implemented. Rotating of vertices: would it be very usefull? I'm no artist so please do explain in which situations something like that would be usefull.
Moving polygons: hold down CTRL while moving a polygon will allow you to move in any direction. Guess what, it's in the manual... |

Okay, for example: I just tried to create a Tower-like Cylinder with 8 segments. Then, I wanted do build a door in it, so I selected a polygon -> insist. Now, i wanted to scale it to the right size, but what I got was this.
Now, I would select the vertices and rotate them.
Or when you try to make a castle wall by extruding a cube's side polygon:

(i hope you see what I mean).
So in my view, it would be quite useful, not only in vertices mode, but also in polygon mode.

I know, just wanted to remind you _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

I don't understand what you're trying to tell me. Could you provide other examples?
Never mind, I understand what you're saying, i just didn't see that link under the 'this' word. I have to fix the link colors really.. |

Yeah that 'this' is a link =/
Ok that's no problem, i hadn't too much time when I wrote this. Let's try again
Example1:
As I said, i tried to build a tower and then, i wanted to create a door, so i hit inset and scale/move it to where i wanted the polygon, then I got this:
What I would do now would be going to vertex-mode and select the two:
I'd click on the rotate-button and rotate them (like on picture #2) to get it normal like this:
Example2:
Here, I wanted to build a wall by creating a cube and extruding it's polygons:
But the problem was, if i would go on like this, i would have got this:
(the arrows indicate the problem areas)
So here, I would again select the vertices:
And rotate them:
So i can go on extruding without having those problems:
The final result would be:
Of course, here, it would make more sense if you could also rotate the entire polygon without having to switch to vertex mode.
I hope, it was more understandable now _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it
