doesn't really look "finished" to me, more like in early stage of modelling, what is the polycount of the lowpoly? did you bake normalmaps? if no: why make a highpolyxD? If yes, they add nothing to the lowpoly...

and maybe with some wireframes we could also help more

and why a name over the image xD?

with more information I could give some advice, as it's now just one black thing on weels(i guess from a tutorial) with some light shades here and there that show some geometry.

or if you don't want to improve/continue to work on it's still handy to get some better advice^^

1. Not sure about early stage but,,,anyway the texture on both models are the same just pure colour phong materials.
Just to get a feel of how it will look with windows and headlights.
About the high poly its simply be course I like the look of smooth edges.
2.Wireframes + Geometry info.

3. Name over the image was just cuz I found my bathroom scene on
an other site with some loser taking creadit of my work.
4.Was / is my first car ever, and no it wasn't made from any tutorial.
5. Sure some advice is always good, tho as I said in earlyer post
I don't thing modeling cars is my thing. Had to try tho Very Happy

All these are created in Maya?

If so, should this be moved to 'Other Graphical Programes'?

Not all of it, its mixed with DeleD & Maya models ( scenes ).

Edit: And since others posted their maya work in other DeleD 3D Modelling threads,
I dont think its that big of a deal under wich one of the forum categorys its posted in.... Question

The reason there is a specific topic in the forum called 'DeleD 3D Modelling' is to showcase models made in this programme.

There is a topic heading called 'Other Graphical Tools' for other models/scenes created in 'Other' programmes.

It maybe very misleading and confusing, if users see models/scenes showing features not available in DeleD. Hope that helps you understand my statement better.

.
I do understand what you mean and what your point is.
Still like I said I didnt think it was a big deal posting it in a thread that I started of with DeleD work and then added a few things from maya in it aswell...
Like I said there is other threads in this forum with mixed work from DeleD & Maya and even some with NO DeleD work what so ever in it..
http://www.delgine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3463&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

Anyway as long as Jeroen & Paul-Jan are ok with it Im gonna keep posting both DeleD & Maya scenes in this thread, and just for the record if the work is created in any other program than DeleD I will say so, so that people dont think DeleD are more power then it really is

Well, although we (of course) prefer DeleD models, we don't mind posting stuff made with other programs as long as you mention those programs in your post. Smile
