Like in Milkshape when I press SPACEBAR , I can toggle between Maximize Viewport ( The Viewport in which my cursor is ) and 4-Windows View . How can I do it in DeleD , Its so Natural I think .

Also , I want to know if there is any Key like in some other Programs Milkshape , Maya to rotate View ,

SOMETHING LIKE THIS
"""Press ALT Key and Hold the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON and now move the mouse to rotate the view"""

The Workflow becomes more fast and efficient I think .
Imagine , I am working on Architecture Visualization , I cant see something Clearly , I Press SPACEBAR to Maximize Viewport . Ok , The thing I want to see is Hidden , So I press ALT+LeftMouse and Rotate View to get to that Place , Modify Something , Press SPACEBAR (Back to 4-View ) ..........

Blender has borrowed this 2nd Feature "ALT+LMB Click"( In 2.49 I think ) from Maya or maybe Milkshape .

Blender doesnt implements 1st Feature "SPACEBAR Maximize" I think because It already does so using "CTRL + RIGHT/LEFT" Arrow Keys which switches between 3-View and "Perspective 3D Maximized View" .

I again think thats so Natural . Again , thats just my Views Smile .
I would love to have these 2 features .

Thanks for your Time .

Uhm, i never heard anyone put a great value on this kind of feature. Might be an interesting suggestion though. I don't think there's a 'maximize viewport' hotkey in DeleD.

I'm renaming this topic and moving it to feature requests

actually, shortcut keys are the spice of computer life, IMO... but with programs like Blender (which is just about entirely hotkey oriented, thus it's difficulty), shortcuts and hotkeys are becoming more and more important to people.

Rather than a hotkey system, however, I think that with the layout/tab/menu system that Deled has, a compass-map system like Maya might be more preferable.

God knows Adobe needs to use the compass style, with somewhere near 3000 tools/plugins it needs better/faster organization, heh...

To put a 'user' face to this.. since using DeleD, I have found its navigation so easy to use, when using other methods like holding down the middle button and moving the mouse.. my Logitech wheel button has a hefty spring, which has caused so many slip ups with models, especially over a period of time, when that spring seems to become more powerful lol Confused .

I prefer the way DeleD functions, even down to having a scrolling speed for the wheel.
