Here are some first Screens of my current Modelling Project. I'm trying to create a city district. Why ? Just for fun.

I keep the Geometry simple and Lowpoly. There's a big cathedral planned which will take the most of the scene's Polys.

The current Scene contains 978 Polys. And that ugly Blockmodel in the back is just a reference for the scale Smile

I hope i can finish this project, lots of stuff in mind and lot of time too.

EDIT: Here's the Gallery with many WIP-Shots.

Cheers!

You know I'm a big fan of your work. This, too, looks like something which is going to be awesome when textured and lightmapped. Keep us posted! Smile

Nice work. Very clean lines. Are you going to make interiors for the buildings as well?

Thank you both for your comments! Very Happy

No, i'm planning no interiors at the moment because i think there that will result in too much polygons. As far i planned there will be 12 Buildings. Each Building containing approx 900 Polys. So 12 + 900 = 10'800 Polys for the Buildings. And then there is the cathedral where i have no idea how much Polys that model will contain because it will be HUGE.

But yeah, if i have some spare Polys i will do the interiors Cool

Small Progress on the Entrance (not final):

Thanks again!

*** EDIT ***

Rough Version of the Cathedral:

Starting now the other Buildings and the Plaza.

Thank you guys! I did changed some things on the Tower, it's now a little bit smaller. I also added some placeholder buildings, i like to put placeholders in my scenes - they can help you really to scale everything properly. 7 Buildings left Smile

You're working fast. It's looking great. Can't wait to see it textured.

Good work. What kind of poly count are you at now?
